Scooter Libby is not going to prison. In the knick of time, W commuted his sentence. What do you think? I did hear on the news this evening that the President has intervened in fewer sentences than any president in 100 years. Maybe he's saving up all those pardons and shortened sentences for the end of his term?

Fleur! Great blog. Depressing to catch up on Old Scoot...and I made a bet with Jay to let me shave his head if Scoot did the time. sigh. Oh well, I'll just have to scroll down again to take a peek at Bubba and my Jimmy to perk up a bit ;)
They do perk me up. But did you see the comments on my flickr page? Some guy called them the "axis of weasles"!
We need to find some other bet with Jay. He would look good with a shaved head!:)
I am in the saving up for the end of term camp. There is no telling how many he will need at that point. My favorite bumper sticker during the trial was "Squeal Scooter Squeal" and a pic of a rat.The sad thing is that the real culprit goes uncharged and the crime of an undercover agent being exposed seems somehow trivialized.
Oh- loved the pic of the bass was that taken in AL?
Yes, the bass cake was at the Pig in S'boro, sitting in the bakery case with all the normal birthday cakes. Got to love camera phones!
